Artist's Description

Original painting currently on display for sale at Eclipse Art Gallery, Deerhurst Resort in Muskoka.
Painted from an old 1914 vintage photo of Tom Thomson. The inspirational artist for the Canadian Group of Seven art movement back in the 1920s Toronto, Canada.
Just at the beginning of the height of his career in July 1917, he met with a tragic death in Algonquin Park. Drowning or murder? To this day, still one of Canada's great mysteries!
