July 8, 2017 marks the 100th Anniversary of the tragic death of Canadian Artist Tom Thomson in Ontario's Algonquin Park. Thomson, a Canadian Art Icon, was the main influence for the Canadian Group of Seven art movement in Toronto back in the 1920s. Kirsch has created two tribute paintings to Tom Thomson along with a collection of new Vimy Ridge and Historic Toronto Tribute paintings for various Canadian Sesquicentennial Art Shows in multiple cities in 2017.
